Casa Castillo in Polanco, Mexico City, is a fantastic choice for travelers seeking a clean, affordable, and welcoming place to stay. From the moment you arrive, the friendly and attentive staff ensure you feel right at home, always available to help with recommendations or any questions you may have. The cleanliness of Casa Castillo is truly commendable. The rooms and common areas are spotless, showcasing the care and effort put into maintaining the property. It’s worth noting that the hotel is mindful of Mexico City’s water situation—a reality that travelers should respect. To conserve resources, towels and bed covers aren’t changed daily for stays shorter than a week, which is entirely reasonable and aligns with sustainable practices. When booking, be sure to read the descriptions of each room. Rooms on the first floor may experience some street noise, which is to be expected in a vibrant area like Polanco, but it’s manageable and doesn’t detract from the overall experience. Casa Castillo offers an unbeatable combination of affordability and comfort in one of Mexico City’s most desirable neighborhoods. Its proximity to fantastic dining, cultural landmarks, and attractions makes it an excellent base for exploring the city. Highly recommended for budget-conscious travelers looking for a great stay in Polanco!

The hotel is nice and well designed. Rooms are very clean, but slightly small. It is just one floor and there is no elevator.

We did enjoy our stay here! Rooms are clean, great location, very spacious, all types of amenities. My only problem it’s the check out time 11am, are you serious? We did extend our stay for a longer period and we needed to do the check out at 11, and the room was ready after 4pm. I didn’t understand this logistic! And I also don’t feel it is convenient. But other than that, I did liked it!

I booked the corner room on the ground floor where both sides face the street. Is it noisy? Yes, but even as a light sleeper I managed to sleep ok with ear plugs. To the men at reception: thank you for the excellent service, you were very kind no matter what time of the day/night! All in all I think the price for this room is fair for what you get. This hotel is located in Anzures, in walking distance to the Chapultepec Forest, museums and some restaurants - very safe area even at night.

The location of the hotel is excellent, front desk is very helpful, and a very good value for money. Liked - The location is great! Walkable to most landmarks and attractions. Very close to pharmacies and convenience stores! The front desk is very helpful but can barely speak English - Be sure to have the translator app ready! My special requests were also accommodated (free room cleaning since I stayed for 5 days and extended check out for an hour more) Disliked · The price of room 31 is the same as room 25 :(
